Bartlett Aquatic Center

Bartlett Aquatic Center in Bartlett is a must-visit in the sweltering summer months. This park was established in 1964 and has catered to more than 41,000 residents. Over the years, the park has gone through a significant expansion and has added several unique features that the residents and tourists in Bartlett flock towards.

These renovations and expansions received approvals for the state’s first zip line into the water. This aquatic zip line starts from a ten-foot-high platform, zips down on the cable ride and effortlessly drops into the water to cool off. The aquatic center also features a zero-depth pool, raindrop umbrella sprinkler, eight-lane lap pool, lazy river, a plunge pool with a drop slide, and a new children’s spray play area.

The Bartlett Aquatic Center features several exciting programs like Aquafit, water walkers and aquatic fitness punch cards. Aquafit is a class that accommodates all fitness levels; you do not have to be a swimmer to participate. Water Walkers are another easy way to strengthen your body. This class allows you to walk forwards, backwards, and sideways to the water’s natural resistance, making your muscles work harder. To enjoy these classes, you can apply for a fitness punch card to choose what type and when you want to attend.

The Aquatic Center also allows for competitive swim meets and other competitions. The pool has stadium seating for spectators and a Colorado timing system. This center is also home to the Bartlett Xtreme Swim Team. You can rent the pool for different activities, from school sports like water polo and swim team to scout swim checks and birthday parties.  Pool rentals for birthday parties are only available on Saturday and Sunday. The pool is also equipped to ensure that those with mobility issues fully experience the aquatic center through ramp entrances.

If planning a visit to the Bartlett Aquatic Center, be mindful of the rules and regulations. According to the BAC policies, children under seven must be accompanied by a parent or guardian above 18 years of age. No recreational floatation devices are allowed in the pools or the aquatic center. Apart from this, the Aquatic Center ensures that the lifeguards attend monthly training sessions to improve and maintain the highest performance levels consistently.
